Kagi Extension for Safari on macOS Catalina does not work at all

I recently upgraded to macOS Catalina which is the maximum OS on this Mac and the Kagi extension from my Safari extension list disappeared. I tried reinstalling it from the App Store, but no matter what I do, it still just does not show up (and does not work). I tried removing it completely via AppCleaner and reinstalling, but that did not help too.

Expected to still have Safari Kagi extension working.

minimum What did you have previously that did work?

In the meantime try Orion browser with Kagi built in.
