Create an Alfred workflow for Kagi search and assistant use

Alfred is a popular tool for Mac users, and empowering its users to search and use assistant directly from the Alfred prompt could add value to end users by initiating conversations and searches without navigating to Kagi through a web browser.

For example, a user would be able to initiate Alfred handsfree using their Alfred shortcut type kchat Provide me the most common items covered in a job offer for a product manager and then Alfred would launch a Window or new tab within the user's preferred browser and the predefined chat model would receive the prompt. Users would be able to prompt search and other models with configurable shortcuts, for example, k top 10 best monitors in 2024 for Kagi search or kr explain photosynthesis like a five year old to prompt the research model, etc.

Vlad I didn't realize there were documents for implementing Kagi search into Orion. I figured it was easy (like the documents show). Now that I'm thinking through it, it may be possible to use shortcuts like !chat. I'll give it a try, and you may be right—this is fairly moot, given the functionality that Kagi already provides with the bang operators.

My original thought was that integration with the assistant and all of the language models that ultimate users have access to would require more complicated workflows than simply providing an argument to an attached query string.

I've completed the integration and tested it with the !chat bang, and it worked as expected. I think you're right to consider this a low-value suggestion now and to close it.
