Sorry for the late response. I was not aware that government sponsored was the point of News 360. I don't expect it to be americentric or eurocentric but I figured that a consideration of whether the organization is factual would factor in. With that in context, I suppose there is nothing wrong with using Global Times. In the case of BBC and NPR, independent organizations have fact checked them and determined them to be credible and mostly factual. I appreciate the switch to SCMP. As @potatopilla pointed out there are no outlets in China and Russia that could be considered fully independent journalism, however SCMP is considered more credible than Global Times.
I am a little disappointed with the choice of RT for Russia but I understand it. I personally would have preferred The Moscow Times (themoscowtimes.com, located in Moscow), Meduza (meduza.io, located in Latvia) or The Kyiv Independent (kyivindependent.com) all of which are considered more factual than RT.
