Order by recency not sorting correctly

Steps to reproduce:
Search for something eg. "lg imac" and then order by recency.
As you can see it's neither consistent nor Ascending actually.

Expected behavior:
The order is consistent with the one I select.

System info:
Firefox, Mac, Germany (EU-WEST)

Kai Not sure how to word "Recency" and have ascending (newest to oldest) be default option like everything else in filter?

Have experienced the same problematic result:

The results are quite mixed up. I see 2008 results well after 2017 results, for example.

Maybe display some of them conditionally?
Like for Recency (which you'd assume does newest to oldest) don't even show ASC/DSC since it makes no sense logically.

Vlad Order by Time sounds better yeah, still doesn't fix the sorting issue though I think? (Unless recency as it is now does ordering by default and then you try to add to it by selecting some)
