Kagi returning irrelevant/bad results lately

For the past 2 weeks or so, I've noticed that Kagi has been returning a noticeable amount of bad/irrelevant results for my queries. It is starting to feel like all the other search engines, and I do not want to see Kagi continue in this direction.

For example, here's a query I just searched for and the first results:

Query: flood torrent default speed limit settings
Results:

- does not include terms "default" or "setting(s)"
https://github.com/jesec/flood
- does not include terms "speed" or "limit"

- duplicate result, same as the first

- this is OK, it contains all the terms I searched for, but is not not really what I'm looking for.

- does not include term "speed", but result is possibly relevant
https:// www.reddit.com/r/torrents/comments/5ka8ma/deluge_users_let_me_see_your_setting_because_my/
- does not include term "default", result is irrelevant because it is about the deluge client and not flood
https:// www.reddit.com/r/torrents/comments/5qow2u/best_settings_for_fibre_optic_200mbs_connection/
- this is OK since it includes all my terms, but is irrelevant because the "flood" matched refers to "flood protection" rather than the flood client.

I expect that the vast majority of initial results for a query will include ALL terms included in the query.

First, let me apologize for hastily submitting this as a bug report. As I mentioned, this was a pattern I kept seeing so I wanted to actually document it since I had a few minutes. I don't think the Bug tag applies here since there's nothing really actionable or tangible, just consider this some customer feedback.

Possibly? It's not that I'm against fuzzy matching or conceptual similarity ranking and want to exclude these results altogether. It's more the frustration with clicking the first handful of results and wondering "why was this even returned for my query?"

We're all aware how Google knows better than you and disrespects your query, that's probably why most of us are Kagi subscribers. Up until a few weeks to a month ago, it felt like Kagi respected my query more than it does now. I recognize that this is completely nebulous and could entirely be in my head, but it's a sentiment I've felt lately.

Again, there's nothing really actionable here so it doesn't really deserve the Bug tag, I just felt that I needed to share my feedback.

Likewise, odd search results, for example: search for "ad suppressors" (without quotes) comes back with "AB suppressors" which are gun silencers, which are completely irrelevant to my query. Worse yet, search for "advertisement suppressors" (without quotes) yields essentially the same irrelevant results.

I thought it relevant to reply here. I had done a search on "Worcestershire", and what was the second result?

This is becoming a trend as of late.

BlackUdon Thanks, acknowledged, located the root cause for this and fixed. Can you describe what exactly became a trend (nsfw or bad results?) and can you give a few more examples?
