I would love for a feature where including a certain bang in a search would cause Kagi to automatically redirect straight to the first most relevant result. In other words, skip Kagi’s search results page entirely, go straight from search bar to the most relevant page.
It makes internet usage much more efficient when you know where you want to go, for example a company’s website, but don’t know the URL.
This would not affect existing workflows as it would only happen when a certain bang was included.
This was added as a feature to Arc browser recently (holding shift and hitting enter) and I find it super useful. I can’t use Arc on all my devices unfortunately, but I think Kagi can make up for this.
For Kagi I would like this to work when searching from my browsers URL bar. You could make it work when including a an ! at the end of the search, like the ? works for quick answer. Or it could be a bang, e.g. !go.
