AI Model selection should be sticky

When selecting an AI model, it should remember the selection. Currently each time I open Kagi.com, it defaults to ChatGPT 3.5 turbo, meaning I have to select the llm I actually want to use. If I select Claude opus, it should always remain unless I choose to change the llm.

By being sticky, and remembering the last chosen llm option, means I can get on with my query rather than having to keep using the llm selection dropdown to choose the actual llm I want to use every time I go to Kagi.com via my browser.

It could be a profile option, much like you’ve implemented the ‘preferred assistant mode’ where I select ‘last used’, perhaps.

FWIW it's sticky for me most of the time, but I agree with having a profile option or some place where I can just explicitly define it, since the behavior is a bit inconsistent.

Hi all - is this still an issue for people? We tried to reproduce, but didn't have any luck. We've also made some changes recently that may of incidentally improved or fixed the behavior.

We're also hard at work on a massive overhaul / clean implementation of Assistant that should address a ton of UX issues & missing features, so appreciate you bearing with us while we get that ready.
