Probably a temporary hickup with the upstreams. A new backend for search is in the works and should go live in a couple of weeks.

I got results now when I tried on europe-west2 (with both International and US):

Searching Kagi for the term wageningen (the name of the Dutch city of Wageningen lowercased) returns zero results: https://kagi.com/search?q=wageningen

Searching for the capitalized name works properly: https://kagi.com/search?q=Wageningen

Kagi Search should return results related to the city regardless of capitalization

Works for me. Probably just a hickup with the upstream. Did you try pressing the Retry button?

I searched "what is cradle cap" and received the "We haven't found anything. There are no results for the given query. Check your spelling or try different keywords." message.

The new version of the search backend will make it easier to find the cause of these issues so they should occur much less frequently once the new backend is in production.

I searched for "syndey olympics", Kagi returned no results.

I expect the search engine to be resilient to minor typos like this. "No Results" for such a common search term is unexpected. (14 results are returned when spelled correctly: https://kagi.com/search?q=sydney+olympics)

I've noticed the No Results page more often recently, though this is the only concrete example I have captured. That leads me to believe this is an introduced bug, not one that has been present in Kagi for a long time.

Seems to be a duplicate of this report – Search lately seems to be buggy like that.

evyn a new backend for Search is in the works and you can see it mentioned here and there. It'll make it much easier to identify these weird issues. "syndey olympics" is forwarded as is to the upstream search providers and they do the spelling correction on their own.

I get results when I search for the exact same thing:

I typed "Otodine" and was suggested "otodine dog ear cleaner" which I selected but zero results came back. Searching DDG for the same string brings back results.

This looks like a temporary hickup with the upstream search providers as I'm getting results for the query. A new backend for Kagi Search is currently being tested and will go live within a few weeks hopefully and it'll make issues like this much easier to fix.
