Share quick answer

Currently you can share a link to a search. However, if you use Quick Answer, I don't believe there is any way to share the Quick Answer text and cited sources without just copying and pasting, which is a lossy operation (e.g., links and formatting are usually lost when pasting in most messengers). It would be nice if, just as there is a “share this search” feature, there was a “share this Quick Answer” feature, or if “share this search” just included the cached Quick Answer (if a Quick Answer was used before the results page was shared).

“Is Kagi good?”
“Yes, it even has an LLM built in”
“Really, can you share with me the LLM’s output on a few sample queries?”
“No, not easily”

IMHO for instant messaging, it's better to share a few paragraphs of text as an image.

I see there are two ways to do this:

Add a button next to the “copy to clipboard” button to create and copy an image to the clipboard.
In the search share, draw an image with the quick answer text as a link preview card.

I want to add a similar request to this, although it might also just be a bug:
As an example, I've queried "does it snow in Zurich?", and I get similar, but different results on different devices (MacOS & iPhone, both using Safari & the same Kagi account). I've noticed very distinct answers depending on the question.

This is likely just due to how LLMs work, and i don't think there's a reliable way to always get the same answer to a specific query / question (?).

Because of that, it would be even more helpful if these Quick Answers could be shared, given that there's no way to replicate them.

+1 I was gonna make this same feature request. I love introducing people to Kagi by showing how much better it is than Google. Sharing search results is a great feature already, but the inclusion of Quick Answer would be the icing on the cake. And sometimes, I just simply want to share the Quick Answer with the hyperlinked references. It's a great format.

The share feature is useful for sending to non-signed in users. I noticed the quick answer does not appear in the results even if i triggered them.

I would like the quick answers to show up in the shared results because they are one of my most used features. I think it would help people understand the usefulness of kagi.

it can be just a pre-recorded response from when the search was originally created. It could have extra fanfare explaining what the results are and why it makes kagi very useful.
