Using disabled bang displays a blank page

Disable Recipe
Search "!recipe pancake"
Page hangs and after a few seconds turns blank, sometimes says Signal - Not Acceptable"

I expected it to take me to kagi.com with the query filled out as is and an error message somewhere to tell me that the bang is disabled

This is because it is trying to redirect you to http://allrecipes.com/, which appears to be down. This is a default bang that the one in the Recipe lens (which I assume you meant) was overriding.

I should've looked at the URL. Can't replicate with other bangs, can close this one
