I think IP bans are unacceptable in paid services

making_rockslide388 We are not banning any IPs. Our cloud hosting providers GCP might but this is outside of our control (and all cloud hosting providers ban certain VPNs for various version, again outside of our control..

For what it's worth, I've not encountered any such issues while connected to a VPN. I connected to a VPN on iOS and on macOS just now to see if I had the same issue and everything is working as expected.

Are you able to recreate this on different servers from the VPN provider?
