Stock not working for all queries for example it's not working for McDonald's in New York, Enbridge in Canada or Greencoat UK Wind in London or National Bank of Canada in Canada,
For Google it's working

To show the stock widget for others stocks too like "Google stock"

FWIW, using the Google Finance (!gf) bang is probably my number one most used bang. Along with Maps, this is one of the top things I miss most about Google.

It would be nice if you could look into stocks from other markets as well. I'm from Brazil, so if you could make tickers from our markets work with the widget, it would be great.
Also, I think it's important to note that many companies trade in different markets. So, for example, if I search for "Petrobras stock", what would you show? The stock trading in NY, via the ADRs, or the stock trading in Brazil, the home market for the company? If you allow us to use ticker and market name it would be the easiest.
So PBR NYSE, shows the ADR value trading in NYSE, and PETR4 Bovespa, the brazilian value.

Widgets (including stock) are ready for an overhaul. That is the next major project we will embark on.

Vlad FWIW it would be helpful if the widget also includes pre- and post-market trade prices as well. The Google widget does this when the market is closed. Happy to make this a separate feature request if that's helpful.

I'm assuming that the source for the live stock data is causing this issue, but I am finding searches for symbols for things like ETFs are not displaying the ticker. It seems I can add "stock price" after the symbol to influence the ticker to appear, but this still doesn't work for many symbols.

"ATHX" doesn't show ticker
"ATHX stock price" does show ticker
...but...
"VOO" doesn't show ticker
"VOO stock price" still doesn't show ticker

For some reason, I'm unable to vote for this.

I'd like to add my +1 to it, however.

As an example, I just tried "NVDA" (for Nvidia) and Kagi Search doesn't show me the stock price. I tried "NVDA stock price" and it still doesn't show me the stock price.

I do not wish to name direct competitors in this space as I'd rather avoid giving them any more additional credence or publicity than they already have. However, this is a common case that "just works" with other search engines which I have tried.

I think it is not unreasonable to expect being able to get the stock price without having to click on any links in the search results page.

It would indeed help smoothen the experience a bit if we could have this working.

Is there a chance that this might be addressed? It's the only thing for which, I have been forced to switch to another search engine for a quick answer.

Please fix this, I need to always resort to Google for stocks. I use Firefox in Linux from Spain.
