Stock widget not working for all queries

Stock not working for all queries for example it's not working for McDonald's in New York, Enbridge in Canada or Greencoat UK Wind in London or National Bank of Canada in Canada,
For Google it's working

To show the stock widget for others stocks too like "Google stock"

FWIW, using the Google Finance (!gf) bang is probably my number one most used bang. Along with Maps, this is one of the top things I miss most about Google.

It would be nice if you could look into stocks from other markets as well. I'm from Brazil, so if you could make tickers from our markets work with the widget, it would be great.
Also, I think it's important to note that many companies trade in different markets. So, for example, if I search for "Petrobras stock", what would you show? The stock trading in NY, via the ADRs, or the stock trading in Brazil, the home market for the company? If you allow us to use ticker and market name it would be the easiest.
So PBR NYSE, shows the ADR value trading in NYSE, and PETR4 Bovespa, the brazilian value.

Widgets (including stock) are ready for an overhaul. That is the next major project we will embark on.

Vlad FWIW it would be helpful if the widget also includes pre- and post-market trade prices as well. The Google widget does this when the market is closed. Happy to make this a separate feature request if that's helpful.
