Automatically redirect search query to other search engine when user not logged in or the asn is blocked

I regularly use a VPN and/or incognito mode. I am not logged into Kagi there, which means that every time I use the browser's navigation bar to search something (without explicitly specifying another search engine), I land on the login page for Kagi as it is my standard search engine. Same goes for my VPN sometimes, where it seems to have been blocked (at least on some IPs), as I am getting 403s when visiting Kagi.
Therefore I would find it incredibly helpful for search queries to be automatically redirected to another search engine when the user is not logged in.

EEtw You can use the session token for that. Just set up the tokenized session link as your default search engine: https://kagi.com/settings?p=user_details

EEtw Do not take this as critique - this is in FAQ, control center and settings. How can we make it more obvious?

Vlad I don't think there is much to do better, tbh, as this seems to have been a mistake on my side. Last time I looked both in the settings and FAQ it must have either not been there yet, or I overlooked it, as I am fairly certain I would have used this instead of the normal "select Kagi as your default search engine" method. And I didn't check them before writing the suggestion.
In the FAQ's "How do I set Kagi as my default search engine?" section it might help to make the sentence mentioning the login toke bold.

It's worth mentioning that saving the session link to a bookmark helps a lot with the experience in private tabs (just click once at the bookmark or enter "kagi" in case you configured a keyword in Firefox). For Chrome users it can be even easier because they can add the session token directly to the Query URL used to add Kagi as a new search engine.

But as a bookmark you can't just type into the address bar. You'd need to click the bookmark or type a keyword or key character first. I use this too for other purposes, but for my default search I think using the following addon to set up the tokenized link as a search engine is the easiest method: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/add-custom-search-engine/ (can be deleted after the set-up)
