I recently signed up for kagi.com account. I did the initial signup so that I generated the password on my password manager. Classic me: I generated 99 character long password. And since the field did not complain I managed to sign up with that even though it is longer than the maximum.
Today I tried to log in and was not able to do so and I noticed the length requirement. Maybe a validation for too long passwords during initial signup would be good idea, since it already exists on the password reset page? I did paste the password to the initial account creation page on iOS Firefox so that may be a differentiator.
I'd expect initially supplied password to work
ps. I still haven't had time to fully try out Kagi, but coming from Brave search, I'm honestly impressed how easy this bug filing process was 👍️
