Say I want to block Pinterest from search results; there's pinterest.com, pinterest.at, pinterest.it, pinterest.de etc, and I need to block each one separately. Ideally I could block pinterest.* and cover all of those at once.
Having said that, I wouldn't want pinterest.* to block say pinterest.microsoft.com, so some further nuance may be needed - and I'm not sure what the best method would be.
