It looks like Kagi only displays favicons for large, well-known sites (e.g. reddit, IGN) but fails to load favicons for small-web sites. Here are two results from searching for "System Shock Remake":
Both results above show a generic favicon, but when you go to these pages they actually have their own favicons, which I would expect to show in search results.
