Show "hours ago" or "minutes ago" instead of "today"

What does your feature entail? What is it for? How will it affect existing workflows or user experience?
Show a more precise time for recent links, like "20 minutes ago" or "4 hours ago" instead of "today".

What are the exact ways that you see a user using your proposed feature? Please go into as much detail as possible, and provide examples of how other browsers/apps implement this feature, if applicable. If your feature suggestion adds on to an existing feature, how would it work into it to extend its usefulness?
Having a more precise date is useful to understand what link is more updated and more recent, mainly if we are talking about recent news in evolution.

Michele144 We do not always know the timezone where result is in, and we do not know the timezone user is in (many use a VPN). For that reason we went for a more broader day ago which is roughly correct.

I think the issue is it'd be nicer to have some kind of easier time control? The quick buttons are nice, but it's kind of an "ugh" effort to put in a date range? Obviously, it doesn't take too long really, but there is a mental hurdle. For example, I often want six months or something rather than a year, but I do not go to the date range to make that happen. Maybe some kind of slider for time we could drag for time?
