Enable sharing of search results pages with people who lack a Kagi account

Kagi has nice-looking search results pages and often the results are better than, say, Google's. But most people do not have a Kagi account, and so I cannot easily share the results page with them. It makes sense for Kagi to paywall being able to perform new searches, but why not cache recently-performed searches and allow anonymous access via the normal URL? (i.e. not a special sharing URL.) This would solve both the SERP sharing problem and introduce more people to Kagi.

ivan This is a great idea. The only thing I could as a problem is that Kagi can cache results per region, so if you share from Europe it would not be available to someone from US for example

Vlad If you're going to start caching search results, it would be great for those who have "Save My Search History" enabled in the Kagi settings to also get a cache of all the search query's they've done so that they can go back and re-use what they already paid for. Would be unique in the sense that every other search engine including Google just shows you a listed history of what you've searched for and requires you to search for it again to see it again.

I find myself searching for the same thing every now and then so being able to reference back to the prior search I had already done instead of sending in a new search comes in handy.

Vlad I would likely use it less often, but I would probably still use it sometimes. LWN does something similar to 'make articles available to non-subscribers via subscriber links'.

Sometimes friends want you to find something, and you find a lot of useful results from Kagi and you want to be able to send all of them to the person so that they can look at them as well. Could you make a feature like that? It could be used to funnel searches from Kagi to another search engine, but this would be a useful feature for the few times you need it.

Vlad Yes I would do that, but they don't and many people won't because Kagi is a niche product and not many people go digging for search engines.

Vlad You could place it at the bottom of the page, in the control center or maybe under the filter options, and you could name it something along the lines of "Export results to text".

Vlad This is very good idea and I see myself using it a lot. And this can also attract users to kagi, as they get to see what is possible with this.

The easiest way is to just copy and share url from url bar, but if this will take long time to implement, a hidden button that gets revealed when hovering over search bar, at the left side of "X" button (that deletes search query).

I can see this feature is "done", and "Next release", but how do I actually use it? I checked help section, and clicked almost every button on my search results and I can't find a way to share my search results with someone who doesn't have a kagi account.
