On the privacy page I noticed you have a Warrant Canary section! This is great for transparency and privacy and shows a commitment to your users.
One shortfall of the way it is currently implemented is that it may be possible to receive (for example) a National Security letter that prohibits you from updating the warrant canary itself. With no way to see when the stats published were last updated it is not possible to verify if this has ever happened. Although it is extremely unlikely to be an issue, especially with Kagi's current size and historic frequency of warrants received (0 so far), it is still an important component of any warrant canary.
What I would like to see is a publish/updated date added to the warrant canary section so we, as users, are able to see that the numbers are accurate down to a defined time-frame.
The frequency this would be updated would be determined based on resources and the process in place to keep this updated. The update frequency would need to strike a balance between administrative overhead vs relevance.
As an example comparison, if it were updated and timestamped weekly then user confidence that the numbers are accurate to within the week would be high but likely be burdensome to implement and maintain. If it were updated yearly then users would not have high confidence or transparency that Kagi has not received any warrants recently, but would be much easier to maintain.
