X to current timezone should trigger clock widget

Searches like 10am pst to current time zone should trigger the clock widget/IA with the answer since Kagi already roughtly knows where you are anyways (the answer is the top result afaik)

Kai The trick with this is trigger words. we already have a lot and what if query is

10am pst to current time zone
10am pst to current time
10am pst to my time
10am pst here
...
see where this goes? it is virtually impossible to do it this way

Can't it be displayed in the little box on top of other results? By making something like "10am pst random few words" it will work for most of cases, and if the user didn't want the coversion, the little widget won't take that much of space anyway. Use the whole page widget only with more specific queries (like only "10am pst").

This thread reminds me that I usually prefer explicit syntax for internal functions and widgets. Instead of wrestling with the ambiguity of "triggers" that could also be search terms, could we just extend the bang syntax, e.g., !calc, !timer and !stopwatch, !translate, maybe !time for the feature discussed here? This might also enable some features to be extended (e.g., !ip address, !ip geo, !ip whois, etc.) without making the underlying logic that tries to infer what the user is asking for increasingly expensive.

Whenever Kagi displays a special widget, it could include a text on it that says how to invoke it explicitly. For example, as I type "2+2", I get a "computer" widget. Why not include a little text saying, "Use calc: to invoke the computer widget. See <here> for more widgets."? Then every time the user triggers a widget through fuzzy-matched query, they get an opportunity to discover and learn how to trigger it explicitly.

I too would appreciate this feature. It's one of the things I miss the most coming from Google. I use it all the time with queries like 8 utc to berlin. I understand that it's hard to detect this type of query, especially with the many different options there are. Maybe it would be possible to parse the results in some way? With queries like this, a lot of time zone converter pages pop up, so a trigger based on that may be an option?

I think the simplest case is an "8am pst" query that automatically converts to the browser's local timezone without needing extra words. This mirrors Google and Bing's behavior.
