What is the Web toggle under search bar

When I perform a search, I see the header, search bar and a list of tabs (Images, Videos, Podcasts, etc.) based on my selected settings.

But I also see a Web tab with a toggle on/off switch next to it. What does this do and when I would I use it? Assuming it does something unique to Kagi and I like it, how can I default it to always ON?

The toggle is not for the web tab but for lenses, click right next to the toggle and a dropdown should appear where you can select a lense to search with, for more info about them, take a look at the documentation: https://help.kagi.com/kagi/features/lenses.html

Value7609 I see. Can I default to one of the choices in the dropdown so it's always selected?

@partlycloudy not that I'm aware of, but you set bangs for lenses. For example, you set a as the bang for the lens (!a is currently Amazon), and then you could search !a your search tearm and it would apply the lens to your search.
