Enhancement Request: Customizable Multiple AI Assistant Prompts with User-Defined !bang Commands

Hello Kagi Team,

I've been actively using Kagi with ChatGPT and have found tremendous potential in expanding the Custom prompt functionality. Here's a breakdown of my request:

Multiple Custom Prompts:
Currently, I believe Kagi supports only one set of custom instructions. However, in practice, users like myself have multiple use-cases and scenarios where different prompts are needed. For instance, with ChatGPT, I can maintain multiple conversations in my history, starting each with its own unique custom prompt. This versatility in managing prompts allows for dynamic interactions tailored to specific needs.
User-Defined !bang Commands for Custom Prompts:
To further enhance the user experience, it would be incredibly efficient if we could tie each of our custom prompts to a unique !bang command. This would allow for quick recall and application, significantly reducing the time spent manually setting prompts.

I genuinely believe that these enhancements would not only improve the overall user experience but also position Kagi as a more versatile and user-centric tool, especially for power users who are keen on optimizing their workflows. It would be the "killer-feature" I need to stop paying for ChatGPT Plus and instead start paying permanently for Kagi Ultimate.

Currently we can create one custom mode for assistant but could be very helpful to be able to create multiple custom modes. The use case I have in mind right now is I often ask LLMs questions about languages I speak and being able to set-up 2-3 of them beforehand would be very helpful rather than starting from scratch each time and asking it to tell me about x language.

At the same time independent bangs for these custom modes would be good too.

+1 The Custom Prompt feature has so much potential, and I'm really enjoying it. In addition to supporting (1) multiple custom prompts and (2) user-defined !bangs for those custom prompts, I'd love to see the Custom Prompts get injected into the other AI Assistant modes, especially summarization and discussion. I made a separate post to suggest at least one minimal version of that feature.

I have one custom assistant that I use quite a lot. I would like to set up several as variants. E.g. the same prompt for gpt and claude.

When selecting research or chat, you can specify variant. Would be nice if that were possible with custom as well.

Requires a bit of work in the settings part I guess, allowing several in stead if one. Allowing ordering and deleting as well.

FWIW the addition of multiple bang-addressable custom assistants is the feature update I am most looking forward to. It's what I check every Kagi update for. Really really excited for it to happen.

Adding the ability to do multiple Custom AI Assistants would do a lot to compete with OpenAI's new "GPT" feature: https://openai.com/blog/introducing-gpts

Not saying that Kagi needs to compete head-to-head, but I think one of the big draws of Kagi and the Ultimate plan is that for light users of LLMs, it's a great deal vs. paying for OpenAI, and it keeps me coming back to Kagi again and again.

I think it would be cool if we could create multiple custom assistants complete with their own bangs and names. Much like how ChatGPT has custom GPTs. I've created various characters that I play with and normally keep their prompts in a note but to have a mode for each custom assistant I would like to interact with would be an awesome feature.

Users can use this feature to fine tune their own custom assistant with whatever model they choose and instructions they want, much like how ChatGPT has custom GPTs. This would be nice as it would allow for more than one set of custom instructions for different use cases.

Now, when in new assistant (https://kagi.com/_nt/assistant) and there is an option to create multiple custom assistants - it's disappointing to see that there is no way to create custom bangs to access them.
With the old assistant it was possible by creating a bang pointing to https://kagi.com/search?q=!custom+%s

To add to this, I've noticed that the !expert bang will load up the last-used assistant config now, with the new assistant UI. It would be nice if it went directly to some standard "best/expert" model (gpt4o? Claude Opus?) with internet access enabled, to better match its previous behavior.

!code still seems to work the same as ever. Those are the two modes I typically use, so this means using !expert actually takes me to the code assistant in practice.

Making a new assistant, you can't create a custom bang for it unlike !code.

Relatedly, you can't make custom bangs in https://kagi.com/settings, only in the search interface.

I created a custom bang !summarise-jp which is meant to summarise a japanese article I'm reading. I set up custom assistant for it, and then typing in the query !summarise-jp ..... in Kagi search will redirect me to the assistant.
