Reddit not included in results when appending reddit

Steps to reproduce:
Search for reddit cbd dosage.
Expected behavior:
Results from reddit are displayed on the topic

System info:
Europe west, replicated on android brave browser and win11 brave browser.

I believe that most users who append "reddit" to the query expect the results I got searching for it with Google. I'm sure that could be because of search results personalization or something like that, but still the expected behavior is seeing Reddit results.

Dantes You basically want site:reddit.com search when using reddit but it is not as simple.

For example:

'reddit ceo'
'reddit json api'
'teddit vs reddit'
...

there is a whole range of queries where you do not want site:reddit.com behavior.

The best way to be explicit with Kagi is to create a Reddit Lens. Next best is simply boosting reddit results. Even for your query there is a number of reddit results grouped together, just not at a first position. Would this work?

Vlad True that it's not that simple, but the issue is indeed that none of the search results have anything to do with Reddit. I can't seem to find the grouped Reddit results either, it only works when I set the region to International. When it was set to Lithuania, where I live, all the results were irrelevant. Is this intended behavior?

Because websites started including random "reddit" in their sites for SEO purposes I do think that the right move would be to boost Reddit. Not sure about the lens because at that point you could just type site:reddit.com

I think the expectation is for the results to come from reddit or have something to do with reddit. Those results are either not including all search terms or terrible SEO stuffed junk.

All concerns are valid. Difference between what should be in results and where we are now is the road I am trying to think how to cross and I outlined challanges with that above.
