Toggles for Main Nav Items

I almost never look at Podcasts. It'd be great to be able to flip the Podcasts tab off without using CSS hacks to hide it.

I imagine others might want to turn off something else, like News.

I'll submit it's a hack from a UX perspective. You want folk that are NOT the HN crowd sooner than later, right?

Something like the customize toggles you have for search results is all I'm suggesting. That's the human friendliest thing and I love it there.

spicytuna Yep, but such folks in general do not want to remove a search feature from the screen. No search engine in the world allows them to do this.

Adding it to toggles would add 7 more items to that screen and it would be overwhelming.
