I ran into the same issue, but (also) with other languages.
From the UI I would assume that if I choose, e.g. :
• lens: Recipes
• region: Slovenia
it would search for Slovenian recipes
Ideally, and I suspect this would also address @warpspin’s use case, I would like it to be implemented that if lens = Recipes an region = Germany, the list that @warpspin suggested would apply, but if region = English, the current one applies.
Alternatively – and I understand the desire to keep things simple – I would suggest to rename (or otherwise make communicate) the default lens to indicate it only searches English-speaking sites, to mitigate the confusion.
