brn Hey thanks for the update. I looked through the GitHub issue and I just wanted to say that private browsing is actually working for me on extension version 3.6. You have to set your default search engine set to Kagi within Firefox settings though. Everything else doesn't work though as you surmised. Hopefully this is useful info. Thanks!

I'm having this problem as well (version 3.6). Everything was working great until, I believe, the update to the addon that added the summarizer feature. I've tried many various ways to get it to work (reinstall, using different steps to add the session token, etc.), yet it's still broken.

My temporary solution has been to paste and browse to my session URL, that includes an the authenticated session token, when starting the private session. That will make it work until all private tabs are closed.

For anyone else who wants to use the universal summarizer on mobile, you can create a custom bang using "https://kagi.com/summarizer/index.html?url=%s" . I have mine set to !sum, so anytime I want a page summarized I do "!sum url.com". Can paste url or just type !sum before the page you are on. Still not as easy as the browser extension, but at least I don't have to remember/find the summarizer url. I don't know if I should create a new issue, but I think you should be able to get to the summarizer easier from the Kagi main page.

I don't have a quick way to test it right now, but a user closed the GH issue about Android support. Is this working properly now for you @zam ?

brn No unfortunately. The summarize button still does not do anything. Everything else still works as reported.

Came to try and find if there was a better way to get to summarizer or on Android, a share with extension would be great

Jolly The best method I've found is to add an additional custom search engine in Firefox that uses the URL "https://kagi.com/summarizer/index.html?url=%s". Then you can quickly summarize the page you're on by tapping the address bar, tapping the search engine icon next to the address, selecting the custom search engine you added, then hitting enter (submit, go, navigate, whatever you prefer to call it lol).

It ends up taking the same number of taps (4) to do that as if you were to navigate to the addon's UI to use the summarize button.

Hi @Jolly as far as we know, Firefox needs to step up its game, it's not something we're missing or doing wrong. We just need some patience, it seems.
