Vlad I mean that's fair, but I would argue the majority of people are probably looking up when certain days happen rather than what those days signify.
I've personally been looking up "valentine's day," "mother's day," etc. on Google for ages, always been disappointing when DuckDuckGo didn't show up with the date immediately and Google was the only search engine that got it right.
For what it's worth, seems like Bing surfaces the date first as well:
