Verbatim results degradation

I noticed significant degradation of Verbatim results.

For example if I search "gflags" (a well known Windows debugging tool) I get no results.

If I turn off Verbatim, I can see that results with the exact word in body, URL or title are available in the index, for example:

i expect verbatim search to return items of the index that include my search keywords verbatim.

I suspect this is thr same as the bug I documented a month ago:

There are, like, four other reports of zero results for verbatim or exact match searches.

Ordinary search is also frequently returning mostly bizarre and barely related results. What the hell is going on with search?
