Incorrect symbol for decimals (comma instead of point) when Region set to Canada

Steps to reproduce:

Set Region to Canada
Search 1.5 + 2.9

Expected behavior:
Answer should be '= 5.4'.

Actual behaviour:
Answer is "= 5,4".
Note the comma instead of period. This is incorrect for Canadian English but correct for Canadian French (or so I understand). If separating the region into Canada (English) and Canada (French) is undesirable, there should instead be a way to set the number format independently of the region.

Same when doing currency conversions.

If I search "1.5 euro to sek", it will correctly show 17,38 SEK, but if I search "1,5 euro to sek" it will incorrectly show 173,81 SEK.

Notice how the displayed output correctly uses a comma as a separator... 🙂

This is annoying and important on Swedish keyboards where we have a comma key on our numpads and not a period key. This means we can't enter numbers on our numpads without reaching over...

@z64 This still isn't correct for the Swedish locale.

Is this going to have to be fixed for each region/locale individually? :/

Vapid Potentially yes, it is that kind of a problem.

Vapid What makes it more difficult is that you could have International set as the region. Please open a new bug report and share your thoughts how we should address this.
