I confirm I have the same issue using the 1.0.37 version of the Android app on Android 16. Specifically, I use the large Kagi widget, click on the assistant button inside it, then select a model, click on the paper clip symbol for file upload, then select camera, take a picture.
Result: The picture is not saved in the camera image folder, and not attached to the assistant thread. Once adding some text referring to the image and submitting it, the model responds that it cannot find any image in the context.
Expected: File uploaded and usable as part of the chat.
