Grosse Fuge is the name of a piece of music composed by Beethoven. When I search this up (https://kagi.com/search?q=grosse+fuge) it leads to multiple results that have something to do with AI, such as
https://github.com/choosewhatulike/trainable-agents/blob/main/README.md

It seems that text about Beethoven was used in some kind of training dataset for AI. Now, while I'm sure that these links contain some references to the Grosse Fuge, I am also sure that 99.9% of people searching for this term want links only about the piece of music itself, not some unrelated AI nonsense.

Interesting, I just searched and I only get results about the Beethoven sq movement. Do you have GitHub boosted in your domain list? I have that site lowered in mine, because I'm not a developer.

No, I didn't even know there was a domain list before I read your reply. About half of my first ten results are related to AI in some way.

RoxyRoxyRoxy My region is set to the united states. I started using Kagi a couple of weeks ago and I haven't touched any of the settings.

StunningLlama Honestly not sure, I can't replicate this in the slightest, the entire page is about Beethoven.
@laiz, would you mind trying to replicate?

RoxyRoxyRoxy I began playing around with the settings and the one thing that removed all the spurious results was turning on "Verbatim" in the options dropdown. I dunno if that helps.

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to reproduce this either; everything was Beethoven for me.

Please let us know if you find any other search terms that return completely unrelated results. I’ve mentioned this bug internally, but I’m not sure how much the team can do since it seems to be isolated to your account. Needless to say, this shouldn’t be happening, so hopefully a solution is found soon. I also hope the issue doesn’t affect your other queries.

I'm able to reproduce - will investigate
