nielsk The degrees in the World Tension Index are I guess in degrees Fahrenheit. Please add Celsius for the rest of us who have no clue how Fahrenheit works. I switch in the settings to Celsius and see a scale I understand.
nielsk Please close this. I just saw that it is actually in a range of 0 to 100 and doesn’t have anything to do with Fahrenheit or Celsius but just shows a degree-symbol to confuse the reader that it has anything to do with weather (42 degrees Celsius is pretty hot and in Fahrenheit pretty cold) but with water I guess Oo
Giorgio Hey, yep - we've been discussing internally that the degree symbol on the World Tension Index can be misleading, you're not the first to point it out. We're looking at making the 0-100 scale clearer. Thanks for the feedback 🙂 I'll just rename the thread.
devilkin It would be great if Kagi news would use the system settings to check whether to display the news temperature in celcius or Fahrenheit. Living in Europe, Fahrenheit doesn't mean much for me. Temperature to be localised.
tux0r devilkin Living in Europe, Fahrenheit doesn't mean much for me. FWIW, I'm German, and I deliberately switched my weather reports to Fahrenheit a few years ago, because it makes more sense for outside temperatures.
devilkin I admit, I didn't think of it in that particular context. Still, 72°C is a temperature whichc feels odd to me 😉
