ORCID Author Search

An ORCID is a universal ID used to identify an academic researcher. When I search for an ORCID, it should recognize the format and search the ORCID website for the ID.

Example search term: "0000-0002-2457-0783" or "ORCID 0000-0002-2457-0783"

Expected top result: A link and preview to the author page https://orcid.org/0000-0002-2457-0783

Here is info on the structure and parsing of an ORCID. The checksum digit should make it relatively easy to identify it as a valid ISNI.
