How is slop reporting supposed to work?

This: https://help.kagi.com/kagi/features/slopstop.html

describes the process as clicking on the shield symbol, then clicking on report.

For me the shield symbol links to: https://kagi.com/html/search?q=info:[website url]
and if I click on it, kagi tells me it found nothing on the topic.

Steps:

type sth in the kagi search bar
hover over and then click on the shield next to a website

Something like shown in the images here: https://help.kagi.com/kagi/features/slopstop.html under 'Reporting content'

Hiya - do you use Kagi with JS disabled? Currently the modal that is supposed to appear that has reporting controls (among other things) requires JS, and what you are seeing here is the fallback behavior when JS is disabled. You can tell if this is the case if your search page urls are like kagi.com/html/*.

Normally it would show anyways - like this https://kagi.com/search?q=info%3Akagi.com - but it seems there is a bug preventing that. But regardless, first we can narrow down if this is the issue 🙂

I see, yes that was it! I thought I had all scripts set to enabled, but I just tested it again (disabling my blocker altogether) and it works 🥳
