I have a bone to pick with you Kagi. My understanding is if I make a purchase from a you, then my transaction is between me and you alone. There may of course be a middle man (stripe for example) to facilitate the transaction for us both. But what has happened today is not acceptable. I just received an email from a third party that had nothing to do with our transaction, yet had all the details of it. Not only did they make me aware of this, they tried getting me to sign up to their services because of it. This being a possible scam did come to mind and this is not such a case. I intend to share the email with Kagi in a more private conversation. I have not yet decided if I should take things further.
My suggested feature: Do not share customer purchases and customer information with parties that have nothing to do with them.
Benifit of suggested feature: The personal information of your customers will be secure. Consumer confidence will not take anymore nose dives. There are more besides that I do not believe need to be written.
