I really appreciate how Kagi currently adds a dollar icon ($) to search results to indicate when content requires a subscription. It’s a great way to manage user expectations before clicking.
I’d love to see a similar feature implemented for state-funded or state-owned media outlets.
For example, a small icon or label could appear next to results from organizations like the BBC, DW, CCTV, or Al Jazeera. The goal isn't to label these sources as "propaganda" or imply they are unreliable, but rather to provide immediate transparency regarding their funding and ownership structure.
This fits right in with Kagi’s focus on transparency. It gives us the context we need to make up our own minds about the source.
