Generating Unique Account Number can be done for customers during signup, to enhance privacy. There is currently the need to input any email (even a fake alias) to register an account, this issue can be completely side stepped with the unique account number. We already have Privacy Pass for paying customers, like the same way this can be considered in the future as an implementation. Since we already have anonymous payment methods too, this implementation will boost privacy and complete the circle. But this is no means an immediate implementation ask, as this feature will take time for old/new accounts.
An user would generate an account number that is unique to them and this will be their identity (Example : Mullvad account signup) and it'll remain functional as much as they subscribe to Kagi. Kagi will in turn maintain utmost privacy standards. Only problem that can arise is that if someone loses their unique account number, this cannot be recovered - same as now if someone used a fake email to register for a Kagi account. Additional example is Windscribe VPN, they used to require email for signups, but recently shifted to a unique account number system. This feature will also attract more privacy enthusiasts as users. Consider this as a future implementation.
