Search Suggestions do not work in Firefox for Android.

I have followed steps here to configure Kagi with Firefox for Android.
Search suggestions stopped working a couple of weeks ago. Over time, I've found that they do work in Incognito but not in normal sessions.
Search suggestions should work but don't.
