Kagi Image Search displays a narrow column of images in a wide window, but only for SOME queries

I opened Kagi Image Search tab to look at what "sword baldrics" look like. Don't ask.

Suprisingly, the results were formatted into a very narrow column of two images per row, the rest of the frame is empty (see screenshot). I tried other image search queries, and they all resulted in normal, window-filling image mosaic layout. But "sword baldric" keeps creating this weird layout, even after several times closing the browser, ctrl-reloading the page, and a reboot. An amusing but strange bug.

I just recreated the same effect in an incognito private window by logging into Kagi afresh and searching for "sword baldric" images. Other queries still output normal image mosaics.
My OS is Win 10 Pro 22H2, browser is Firefox 147.0.3. The main browser window has uBlock Origin enabled, but the incognito window didn't (nor were any other extensions active in it except Kagi Search).

I expect the Image Search to output normal window-filling image mosaics, as usual.

UPD: another term that triggered the behavior was "people eater". Also, if I make the window really narrow, the adaptive layout does snap to the right margin and it can populate up to 4 columns, but unsnaps after a certain width (screenshot)

I just ran into this as well; macOS 26.2, Safari 26.2, search term "wool sweater"

As shown below the elements are squished to the left

Steps to reproduce:
Search up deku cosplay and go to images

The images are expected to fill the screen nicely and not be squeezed onto one side.

I have also been able to reproduce this consistently.

Using Kagi Image Search on desktop, Firefox version 147.0.2
When I run an image search with the terms "bedrosians" or "marin tile", the results only display in two columns; the grid does not dynamically resize with the window. Running the search for other terms (e.g. "apples", or "marin") does not have the same problem.

Image search results fill the entire window and are not limited to two columns

Browser(s): Firefox 147.0.3 (64-bit), Edge 144.0.3719.115 (64-bit)
Screen Resolution: 3840 x 2160, 175% scale
Issue: Image search for query "wall mounted cat hammock" displays results in only 2 columns at max window size - slightly decreasing window size does prompt responsive change and more columns can be achieved. Issue does not replicate when search inquiry is just "wall mounted." If you search "wall mounted hammock for cats" or "cat hammock" the bug occurs again.
