I have both the kagi search plugin installed and also kagi privacy pass. So when I type a search query in the browser bar, it takes me to kagi.com and uses privacy pass to further protect me, hurray.
Sometimes I use Brave's "New Private Window with Tor" option. I've enabled these two plugins for use in private windows, so when I type a search query in the browser bar it takes me to kagi.com and I see:
Error: Forbidden
Your client does not have permission to get URL /search from this server.
The workaround is to instead visit: kagi2pv5bdcxxqla5itjzje2cgdccuwept5ub6patvmvn3qgmgjd6vid.onion
...as described here: https://help.kagi.com/kagi/privacy/tor.html
But is this workaround necessary? Between the two extensions, I think Kagi should have what it needs to allow me to run search queries from the browser bar without having to go find the onion address.

End up at Kagi's onion site with results from your query
