Currently, the Claude Opus 4.5 model in kagi assistant does not support reasoning effort parameter. However, official documentation for Claude Opus state that it can be enabled with a beta header.

Using Claude Opus 4.5 without reasoning is fast compared to its reasoning variant. But it feels like I am limiting this capable model. The default value that Claude Opus 4.5 w/ reasoning uses for reasoning effort is high, which makes the response too slow. I want to be able to change reasoning effort to low so that claude opus 4.5 can still reason without taking a long time.
