When searching using an image, if you go out of the image tab kagi switches the query into "Uploaded File" and will search that instead. If you afterwards go back to the image it will show results for "Uploaded File" rather than your original image uploaded.
While I'm not sure what I would do when moving out of the image tab, I wouldn't expect it to just be a default "Uploaded File" query.
