Gemini Pro 3 regularly stops at the "thinking step", never giving an answer

I was reviewing my configuration prompt today, and I'm afraid I might be at fault here : there was a directive to ignore time constraints that was a remain from an old LLM config I copied and pasted from.

I'll post a thread Id if the problem happens again with a clean configuraiton.

Arnaud For this thread, have you clicked the thinking block to see whether the thinking summaries are still updating, or if they’re stuck?

Officially 'Pro 3' is still in "preview" status. So, it could just be an issue with big G's system rather than at Kagi's end.

Every time I saw this problem, I'm pretty sure the "thinking" was stuck.

Happening for me too. Thinking has stopped, the response just doesn't continue/print.

Sure, you can also just share the ID without sharing the whole thread. We only need the thread ID to check whether there are any errors associated with it in the error logs.

dreifach Unfortunately this appears to be an issue on the model provider’s side (it’s taking longer than expected or getting stuck in reasoning stage). We didn’t see any errors in our logs.
