I do not regularly use the POI filtering feature Kagi Maps offers, but I recently had a browse through them. They leave a lot to be desired for. TLDR: I would delete them all and start from scratch, as there are a number of inconsistencies and it feels as if their underlying logic (in terms of which POI filters to display/offer) is unclear.
Highlighted below are some inconsistencies I spotted.

- A "Building" filter? What is this for? Doesn't make much sense to filter by type of building.
- What is a "Construction" POI? Sites under construction? This requires continual updating and I don't see much purpose for it.
- An "Isolated Dwelling"? Does this mean detached house?
- "Yes"?
- "Food And Drink" and then "Food And Drink Stores"? I understand the distinction between places to buy food to cook at home vs. places to go out to eat, but it is unclear with this naming.
- "Beer"? "Alcohol" was already named, but then so was "Bar", and then so is "Pub".
- "Restaurant" as a standalone POI? Doesn't make sense to me since the point of this filter group is to filter between types of restaurants.
- "Restaurant Noodle/Pizza/Seafood". Delete "Restaurant" before these words.
- "Alcohol Shop". Bit of an odd name. In the US, a liquor store, in the UK, it can but does not necessarily have to be an off-licence.
- "Variety Store". What is this?
- And what is the difference between "Grocery" and "Supermarket"?

- "Globe", "Map", and "Marker". What do these mean?
- Is an "Industrial" filter group really necessary, and what does the actual "Industrial" filter mean"? And "Works"?
- "Lodging" duplicate, "Board" meaning unclear, "Camp Site"/"Campsite" duplicate.
- What is a "Clinic", what differentiates it?
- "Doctor"/"Doctors" duplicate.
- What is a "Car" filter?
- Is there really a difference between "Car Parts" and "Car Repair"?
- "Parking"/"Parking Garage" duplicate.

- "Park Like". What does the "Like" mean? Green space-y?
- "Cemetery"/"Grave Yard" duplicate.
- "Garden". Putting people's gardens on there? Confusing.
- "Place Like". Same problem with "Like".
- What is a "Ranger Station"?
- What is a "Social Facility"?
- "Town Hall"/"Townhall" duplicate.
- "Picnic Site"/"Picnic Table" duplicate.
- "Post". As in postbox, or?
- "Toilet"/"Toilets" duplicate.
- "Religion". This whole filter group is odd. To list religions is weird. It should just be different places of worship, e.g. Mosque, Church, Synagogue, etc. Although different denominations can make this more complicated.
- "Pitch". What kind of pitch?
- "Swimming"/"Swimming Pool" duplicate.

- "Store Like". Same problem with "Like".
- "Clothes"/"Clothing Store" duplicate.
- "Doityourself" should be DIY. But then what's the difference with a "Hardware" store?
- "Jewellery"/"Jewellery Store" duplicate.
- "Marketplace". Meaning?
- "Mobile Phone". Does this not fall under "Electronics"?
- "Retail". Meaning? The whole filter group relates to retail. Same with "Shop".
- "Shoe"/"Shoes" duplicate.
All in all, it would be great to know how these POIs were generated in the first place. It feels like inconsistent and poorly thought out/weird copywriting — perhaps the result of mixing different databases together?
One other small point: public transport POIs would be good! For example, major train stations, subway/tube stations, bus stops, etc.
