This bug concerns "Grok 4", a flagship model that requires an Ultimate membership tier.

Go to Kagi Assistant. Start a conversation with Grok 4. The response will miss its first letter. For example, it will say "hank" instead of "Thank".

Also, if there's a comma in the response, it appears that anything prior to the comma in the first sentence is cut. Such responses simply start with ",".

I expect the full word.

westerntragopan You're using Grok 4.1 Fast. It indeed does not have the problem. The problem specifically affects the model called "Grok 4".

That's strange that you can't replicate! For me it's constant, on every reply. It's more nuanced than I thought though, often the first word will be missing, or the part before the first punctuation. I've attached an example.

The first reply starts with "!", so I guess "Hello" was omitted. On the second reply, the word "Two" is missing.
