For calculations, detect number separator based on locale (or, at least allow it to be custom configured)

This is about the calculator feature.

I wanted to know was 214*630 was, for reasons.

So I did math, and it correctly told me the answer, but with a weird thousands separator: a space.

What do I want it to do instead?
I expect a comma here (134,820), and other locales expect a dot (134.820). I don't actually know any that expect a space!

How would it work?
Well, maybe it would automatically do the correct format for my locale.

Or, maybe I could have a settings preference for this.

I actually just noticed that in the autocomplete box, it shows a comma already, so maybe it's a bug that it doesn't behave the same way in autocomplete vs. the result page?

A space is a somewhat location-agnostic way of displaying a separator, so that's why it's used here. If there's community interest we could likely add a setting for this.

I'd appreciate a setting for this. Comma, full-stop, or space-based, with decimals also taken into account (in German, one million would be 1.000.000,00; in the UK it would be 1,000,000.00).
