I am using the app on an android eink reader and use the share intent to translate text with Kagi.
Previously (I don't know how long ago) pressing the back button quit the app when it was opened like this.
Currently it goes the main screen instead (and opens the keyboard), so it takes 3 interactions (back, close keyboard, back) to exit the app and go back. This makes for a clunky experience even on a regular android devices, but it's especially bad with the low refresh rate of an eink screen.
Steps to reproduce:
- Select text somewhere to android
- Pick "Share" in the floating menu
- Pick "Kagi Search" > "Translate"
- Press "back" once the app is open
Kagi goes to the main screen instead of exiting
I expect the Kagi app to close and go back to the app I was using before using the share intent
