Copy/save a specific Kagi Assistant response(s) and save to a tag(s)

Example:

If I have a large thread of 15 responses, and I only want to keep 2 or 3 responses, I should be able to save those responses instead of all 15 responses.
Currently to find the data I need, I have to scroll through those 15 responses to find the 2 or 3 that I actually need.
This current solution doesn't scale well if I have 20+ saved threads with 15 responses and I only need to access 2 or 3 responses

I guess a thing where you can mark specific responses as like... hightlights of a thread. and they kinda show up as a sub-thing of the thread when you're searching. That I could see.
But having them show up as seperate taggable things, sounds like it would make the UI a lot more complicated. @Marija wdy think?

Thibaultmol Thats a good idea. Or even mark a specific reply/prompt so that it is easy to find when scrolling through the entire thread.

The idea of starring answers so they’re easier to surface is interesting. I’m not fully convinced it would work well with the current search experience. A single thread can have multiple starred answers, and since search today only lives in the secondary sidebar, it’s hard to see how those would naturally show up there. I also imagine users would want a quick overview of all starred answers within a thread, which would likely require a dedicated space for browsing, previewing, and managing them.

We have ideas for highlight tool concept, but in a slightly different and more granular context. That direction could potentially solve this use case as well, especially combined with some of the editing ideas we’re exploring - helping users clean up conversations and keep only the most important parts.

I’ll bring this up for internal discussion.

This is whats needed. It's a pain to go through a thread with 10 responses to find the one response needed. I'm forced to save a thread of 10 responses just to save the 1 I need.

Another option could be to delete prompts/responses in a saved thread, leaving only the responses that are of value. Even a Kagi plugin for something like Obsidian so users can generate new conversations/threads that are stored locally and then manually delete what they want from the markdown file itself, instead of downloading the thread (.md), importing to Obsidian making the edits, and then going back. I'm going off topic now so I'll stop.
