Kagi Maps already takes in data from the Google Places API (which I find useful), but it doesn't take in photos.
I would like it to show me the photos directly in Kagi as well!
Some images, to start:
This is how to see more images on Kagi today:

But, it just shows a poorly defined Kagi Image search

See for example the result from this gas station: https://kagi.com/maps/infobox?q=Chevron&ll=37.800762,-122.430965&id=ChIJoakw69uAhYARi6iMmOkHRPI#17.5/37.800762/-122.430965
The "Images" link just links to a Kagi Image search with the name/address of the business, which doesn't really seem to show useful results. (Compare to the actual images on Google Places: https://maps.app.goo.gl/eahYMb5v6APC3T8v6)
Possible implementation details?
The Google Places API does allow you to fetch photos.
Why is this useful?
Broadly speaking, this will allow the user to see high quality photos of a Place without having to navigate directly to Google Maps. This is helpful both for workflow and privacy reasons.
How might it be implemented? What would it look like?
Maybe the UI to see the photos would be similar to google's, or maybe it could be in just a photo carousel at the top of the infobox!
