Cannot resolve kagi.com with Pi-Hole and Unbound

Issue:
Kagi domain unable to connect 95% of the time while using Pi-Hole and Unbound recursive DNS in both iOS safari and Orion.

Wildcard whitelisted kagi.com on the Pi-Hole, no impact. Other search engines function fine.

Tested with new private key with no success.

Any ideas? Kudos to the Kagi team on their business, their values, and quality - a hard thing to come by in today’s internet.

Note: Pi-hole and Unbound are temporarily disabled due to this issue. So no photos, but you know what it looks like. Will give more info as needed and photos if necessary.

Expected result:
Successfully load kagi.com reliably (of course)

Admittedly I'm not a network engineer but my first thought is to run tracert (or whatever it's called on Mac, I think traceroute?) and see where things are dying.
EDIT: Just noticed you said mobile, my bad 🙂 I assume you've tested this on other devices with the same settings?
